What style of therapy do you offer?
I am a Transactional Analysis Therapist In Advanced Training. This means the type of therapy I offer is powerful, practical and and clinically proven. I help my clients understand patterns in their thinking, feeling and behaviour. I like to work using classical Transactional Analysis, this means I may introduce some psycho-education in my practice whilst I explain clear models like Ego States and Transactions, to help you understand the patterns and impacts in your life. I am also deeply relational in my approach – I recognise that we are working together to make meaningful change and that comes through connection. Together, we explore how past Scripts shape present choices and create space for new, healthier patterns. My style is straight-talking, warm, and collaborative: I’ll challenge you, but always with directness, gentleness and care. Whilst there may be times when tears flow in therapy, I also encourage laughter and playfulness, as we are diverse and multifaceted, so is the environment I foster in my therapy space. I’m a NCPS full accredited and a trainee within the UKCP Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy school, ensuring depth, rigour, and ethical practice.
How does therapy with you work?
Working with me is a process. I don’t tell you how to think, feel or act, but I will listen and guide towards your goals.
We will work together to establish what you are hoping for or need from therapy. We will build a feeling of rapport and safety, so that together we can co-produce meaningful change for you. We’ll go at your pace. Therapy can be whatever you need, be that a place of calm or a where you tease out complex thoughts and feelings or you choose to take bold leaps and make changes.
I’ll sit with you in your feelings. I don’t just nod at you and I probably won’t say “That’s interesting!” or “How does that make you feel?” What I will do is get alongside you, help you make meaning of the life that you have lived, who you are and perhaps why you believe you are the person you are. This could include looking at family relationships and cultural input, but only when you are ready to explore this work.
Sometimes I’ll introduce creative ideas, I like to use metaphors and descriptive language, sometimes objects to represent people, using outside space, some art therapy techniques or tactile resources. My therapy room always have things to fiddle with or touch. I want you to feel comfortable and at ease in my space.
How do I book a free, no obligation Discovery Call?
It’s so important, when finding the therapist you want to work with, that you find someone who is a good fit for you where you are on your journey. You might need someone nurturing or someone who is going to challenge you. As with “real life” you’re not going to gel with everyone – and that’s ok!
This is the reason I offer a free thirty minute “Discovery Call” this is a chance for us to have chat and see if we are a good match. It’s your chance to ask me any questions you might have about how I practice, what therapy with me is like.
I won’t ever ask you to share anything you are not happy to – you don’t have to explain why you want therapy or bring your whole story. After all, you have only just met me and organically growing rapport is really important.
If we aren’t a good fit, that is absolutely fine! I like to give us both twenty four hours to have a think about our chat and decide if we want to work together.
Then I’ll provide you with a copy of my contract and we can schedule in your first session.
I usually suggest weekly sessions to begin your therapuetic journey.

Tell me about my first appointment with you, what will happen?
I want you to feel comfortable. Finding the right therapist can be difficult and a real journey. I really respect the bravery that it takes to turn up in my therapy room. We will go at your pace. Some people, having perhaps psyched themselves up want to tell me everything, others need more calm reassurance and to slowly develop a rapport over sessions. Whatever speed you need to go at I’ll meet you there.
Our first session is an intake session, so I will ask some questions about your history, how things are for you right now and what you want from the future through being in therapy with me.
My questioning is generally gentle and nurturing, I want to bring out the best in you, not feel like an inquisition or something to be worried about. You don’t have to know all the answers to what you want and you do not have to talk about anything you do not want to or are not ready to.
You can ask me any questions about the therapy process and together we will work out what therapy together will look like.
What therapy issues do you work with?
I have specialist knowledge in life transitions, self harm, generational conflict, and adolescent mental health.

What does it mean that you are a Transactional Analyst Psychotherapist in Advanced Training
Transactional Analysis is a distinct psychotherapy model developed by Canadian psychoanalyst Eric Berne. It belongs to the Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy school recognised by the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). This ensures that, as a trainee, I offer you high-quality, ethical therapy that is both professional and safe. The Transactional Analysis approach is evidence-based and effective in facilitating meaningful transformation.
Being in advanced training means I have completed several years of advanced study at Level 7 (Master’s) and am now progressing toward becoming a fully qualified and certified TA Therapist.
I am also an NCPS accredited therapist – this means I am already fully qualified to the same level as a psychotherapuetic counsellor, but I am continuing my adacemic study to achieve CTA and UKCP full psychotherapist accreditation.

My office offers a peaceful, restful and discreet space.
There is designated parking and a private a secluded outside space which we may choose to use too.

Do you offer online therapy? What do I need
I offer online therapy sessions using MS Teams
To do online therapy you need a quiet and private space, a device that can access the internet such as a phone, tablet, laptop or desktop. You also require a secure internet connection.
How long do I need to be in therapy?
There isn’t an easy answer for this question. As therapy is unique to you, so is the answer. Some people may come to therapy with very specific aims which can be achieved in a few months, whilst other people may have longer term aims that require longer term work over the course of years. How long you are in therapy depends on your aims, your past experiences and your commitment.
Enowi is about sparking change and igniting your dormant ember, that work involves consistency, effort and can take time.
